WELCOME TO GOOD NEIGHBOUR

A FALLOUT-INSPIRED STUDIO WITH PEOPLE AT ITS HEART

Good Neighbour Tattoo is our family-run studio in Merthyr Tydfil, created from a genuine love of tattooing, storytelling and the retro-futuristic world of Fallout.

The inspiration gives the studio its character, but the experience is built around you. Professional standards, honest advice and a relaxed, welcoming environment where everyone feels like a neighbour.

MEET THE ARTIST

EXPERIENCE, HONEST ADVICE AND TATTOOS MADE TO LAST

I’m Chris Harrison, a multi-award-winning and internationally published tattoo artist from South Wales.

I began tattooing professionally in 2007, working in Cardiff before finding my feet at Bridgend Tattoo Studio. Over the years, I’ve worked across almost every style of tattooing, but I’m best known for cover-ups, black and grey realism, portraiture, pop culture and large-scale custom work.

I’ve been fortunate enough to tattoo clients from around the world, including members of Funeral for a Friend, Bullet For My Valentine, Kill The Lights and We Are Defects. I’ve also written about the industry, reviewed and tested tattoo equipment, created educational content and shared honest advice through my online videos.

Despite the awards and experience, my approach has always remained straightforward: listen properly, be honest about what will work and create a tattoo that still looks good years from now. Whether you arrive with a finished concept or only the beginning of an idea, I’ll help you develop it into something designed specifically for you.

Today, I work from Good Neighbour Tattoo Studio in Merthyr Tydfil, which I created with my partner, Lyndsey.

Good Neighbour grew from my love of Fallout and its retro-futuristic design, dark humour and incredible world-building. The studio is filled with fan-inspired details and memorabilia, but underneath all of that is something more important: a professional, welcoming space where people feel comfortable, listened to and properly looked after.

While I concentrate on creating the tattoo, Lyndsey looks after the client experience. Together, we want everyone who visits Good Neighbour to feel less like an appointment and more like a neighbour.
